Please use the product according to the instructions.【QUICK AND CLEAN OIL CHANGES】- Portable and small oil pumps are needed by everyone, simple operation does not need to spend too much time to practice, widely used in motorcycles, Car, scooters, Boat, quad bikes, trucks, Ship, forklifts, Marine, Power generation machinery, tractors, lawn mowers and various machinery to change the oil. If you only did fluid extractions you'd miss the opportunity to clean it.If the oil cannot be pumped after the oil change pump is started, please do not start it all the time to prevent overheating from damaging the oil change pump. One other major difference is that unlike the engine, the CVT drain plug has a magnet on it. There is also a vent tube on the top of the CVT toward the front of the car, that might work but probably not since it's intended to be a vent, there's no guarantee it has to go down to the pan. It might be different for the 1.5L since they use slightly different CVTs between the two. Though I've not tried moving it up or down when I do meet resistance, I'm not going to chance it and risk getting the hose stuck though. ![]() If we're talking about sticking the hose into the level check plug on the side instead, at least for the 2.0L you can't stick a hose any further than an inch inside without meeting resistance, I've tried it. The finagling and getting caught on the internals is probably going to be more annoying than just draining out the drain plug. Without a dipstick you may or may not have a direct path to the pan that may require you to finagle with the hose if one does exist. Fluid extractors work well in things that have a dipstick, because the presence of a dipstick confirms there's a direct uninterrupted path to the pan. This would probably be unwieldy because the CVT has no dipstick, it just has a plug.
